I got an idea for a meme I wanted to try, but discovered that other people thought of it before me. I'll do it anyway. :P I thought of it last night, when I found an old fortune cookie fortune. You know that game where you add the words "in bed" to your fortune? Well, it's fun to do that with song titles too! Just put your iPod or other music player on shuffle, then put down the titles of the first 25 songs that play, sticking "in bed" on the end.

As you all know, I'm looking for a job. About a month ago I sent my resumé and covering letter to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, and they sent me an email saying that, because they receive a large amount of applications, they can't contact every single person who applies. They select certain people and send them an application package. A few days ago, I got an application package from them! I know it doesnt mean I have a job (yet), but at least I know they'd be willing to hire me. Working in a school library is something I've wanted to do for a long time. I did field work in a school library last year, and I loved it!

I finally have The Sims 2! At first, I had a bit of trouble with it. We have the latest iMac, which didn't exist when the game first came out (the Mac version came out last year), and I always thought that games would work on a computer that surpassed all the requirements. Well, when I installed the game, it was slow and froze every few minutes. I did some research, and found out that the problem was with the game, not the computer. The computer was too powerful for the game! I found a patch that would fix it, and now it works perfectly! I've been playing with the Goth family, just to practice before I make my own sims.

When I went into the house, Cassandra and Don were talking. I decided to have her ask him to move in, and then they tried for a baby. They got married after. A few days later, little Bella was born! Alexander turned into a teen, and I chose the popularity aspiration for him. You'd think he was a family sim, the way he always wants to spend time with his niece! I decided to hire a maid, because the family was constantly making a mess everywhere. It turned out to be Kaylynn, and I swear I didn't make Don do anything because I was trying to turn him into a faithful husband! He started firting with Kaylynn, then started crying while Cassandra and Kaylynn slapped each other. Meanwhile, Bella was lying on the floor watching all of this, until Mortimer came in and took her up to bed. When she became a toddler, Mortimer died. Cassandra and Alex were distraught, and almost died because they wouldn't eat. Shortly before Bella's next birthday, they were back to normal, and now everybody's happy. Cassandra and Don's marriage is still in trouble, but at least everyone's alive (except Mortimer *sniff*). Sorry I don't have pictures. I guess I was just too busy playing to think of taking pictures.
